2003 Collegiate All-Star Selection Camp

The South camp for the Collegiate Men's All-Stars was held in Clemson, SC, from 22st May through 24th May. A total of forty players tried out for the South All-Stars squad, to fill the twenty-two places available to travel to Vallejo, CA.

The camp was almost in jeopardy right from the start, with very heavy rainfall flooding the Clemson rugby field. The Clemson YMCA field was used Thursday evening for the bleep test and some light training. A field was rented from the Clemson athletic department for Friday and Saturdays training. A rigorous and physical two days of training, was completed without any injuries. Although blistered feet were a common complaint amongst the players.

The Coaching staff of Tony Neely, S. Nigel Platt and Head Coach - Randall Joseph selected the players listed. Below is the list of players selected from the camp to play in Vallejo, CA, on 6th & 7th June.
