Weather Procedures

In the case that a team believes there is a risk to the safety of the players to travel to a match due to inclimate weather, the game will be rescheduled. Teams should not be penalized for inclimate weather as this is truly a Force Majeure issue where traveling is beyond the control of the teams.

I would expect the teams to keep an open line of communications with their opponent and the referee involved. When I say open line of communication I mean that a call where discussion occurs or an active exchange of e-mails is occurring. One way communications are not acceptable (i.e. voicemail and/or emails without a reply). I would expect communications no later than Friday night, possibly continuing into Saturday morning as we all know weather can change.

I would expect the teams to reschedule the match in earnest and provide a makeup date by the Monday following the originally scheduled match. Realistically this game will have to be played on a Sunday or Friday night as most teams already have Saturday matches. Matrix matches will have to take precedence over any "friendly" match.
